Love, Joy, Peace...
The “3 for Christ” Challenge is a simple, church-wide effort designed to help every believer take intentional steps toward evangelism. The goal is for each member of the church to identify three people in their life who do not know Christ and commit to praying for them and engaging them spiritually throughout the duration of the sermon series.
Participants begin by writing down the first names of three individuals—perhaps a neighbor, coworker, friend, or family member—who need to hear the gospel. Over the next eight weeks, members are encouraged to pray daily for those three people, asking God to soften their hearts and provide opportunities for gospel conversations. In addition to prayer, participants seek to build meaningful relationships, show acts of kindness, and intentionally look for opportunities to speak about their faith in Christ.
The challenge also encourages believers to invite their three people to church, especially during the sermon series, creating natural opportunities for them to hear the Word of God. The emphasis is not on pressure or performance but on faithful obedience and genuine love for others.
Ultimately, the “3 for Christ” Challenge reminds the church that every believer is called to live on mission, trusting God to work through ordinary conversations and everyday relationships to bring people to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Why 3 For Christ
The 3 for Christ challenge reminds us that the Great Commission begins with the people God has already placed in our lives. By praying for three individuals and seeking opportunities to love and share the gospel with them, we intentionally shine the light of Christ in our everyday mission field—our neighbors, coworkers, and friends.
